CorrView International, LLC was established in 1994 following years of providing various specialty products and services to the commercial and industrial HVAC industry.  Quite recently we completed our 1,060th building piping evaluation.

• Pure Science

Following a B.S. degree in Pre-Med and a Graduate degree in Environmental Science, its principal, William Duncan, began a career in chemical research and development as an inventor for Dart Industries, Inc.  Primary research directed toward solutions to specific questions at Dart led to innovative hi-tech answers to various industrial problems; providing solutions in the areas of D.C. current ozone generation, high altitude ozone control for the Concorde SST, F-16 braking for the U.S. Air Force, electrostatic precipitation, electrostatic cooling, phenolic compounding, and wastewater treatment systems, among others.  This dedication to pure science and investigation continues to this day.

• Chemical Water Treatment

Moving later into the field of chemical water treatment in 1982 provided a thorough understanding and working knowledge of commercial and industrial HVAC systems as well as an exposure to the many limitations of chemical treatment to provide reliable and effective corrosion protection.  Most importantly, it provided hands on exposure to the many different forms of corrosion related damage virtually inevitable in all metal piping systems, and the difficulty of accurately monitoring that loss.  Applying the same scientific inquiry to the field of corrosion and chemical water treatment also revealed the many misbeliefs, misconceptions and errors responsible for many of the problems experienced.

• Ultrasonic Pipe Evaluation

Today, we focus upon the field of pipe corrosion testing and monitoring; serving primarily large commercial real estate interests, government properties, as well as some light industrial and manufacturing facilities.  We provide the highest level of ultrasonic based piping analysis critically necessary for those property owners and managers requiring reliable decision making information, and have served some of the largest real estate, security firms, financial houses, critical data centers, and government facilities across the United States and beyond.  We provide fitness for service evaluations of all piping systems from HVAC condenser and process water to fire sprinkler and plumbing.  We also provide ultrasonic assessment of the various forms of tanks and pressure vessels associated with those same systems.

Above all, we fiercely maintain our independence and dedication to pure science, the latest technology, and investigation; avoiding the politics, special money making interests, and other self-benefiting influences that so often alter and manipulate the correct interpretation and presentation of facts.  We always have and always will place excellence, honesty, and independent thought above all other interests.

• Advanced Corrosion Monitoring

As a result of his involvement in the corrosion field, William Duncan invented and patented a corrosion monitor as one more tool to monitor pipe corrosion in response to more than 37+ years of documentation on the nearly worthless information provided by corrosion coupons.  This simple, low cost, and innovative product is now available exclusively distributed through AGF Manufacturing, Inc., for fire protection systems.

• Information Source

We provide various Technical Bulletins related to piping, corrosion, fire piping systems, water filtration, and other HVAC maintenance issues, as well as useful two page handouts on various subjects.  Additional bulletins and handouts are produced when time permits.  This Internet site also offers an extensive Photo Gallery of various corrosion conditions which we have been involved.  It is quite unlikely that there is a pipe corrosion problem which we have not encountered numerous times.
